Crude Oil Pumping & Pressure reduction Station
The project sits within the East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) project — an onshore crude‑oil export system running from Uganda (Kabaale area) to the Marine Storage & Export Terminal (MST) at Chongoleani, Tanga, Tanzania. This particular Pump Station is situated in Sembabule (Uganda) approximately 180kms from the capital Kampala.
The project work covers design/construction activities for Above‑Ground Installations (AGIs / Pumping & Pressure‑reduction Stations) and associated temporary facilities: civil works, foundations, structural steel, buildings, roads, underground networks (drainage, water, ducts), fences and site reinstatement.
AGIs include power generation, utilities, metering, pigging facilities, EITS (electrical/instrumentation/SCADA/telecom), operator buildings and associated midstream equipment.
Key Scope Elements
- Civil & earthworks, foundations, bunds, sumps, drainage and erosion control.
- Structural steel (piperacks, platforms, stairs, walkways), fabrication/erection.
- Building and architectural works (offices, guardhouses, workshop/warehouse, sanitary facilities).
- Roads, paved areas, parking, temporary/site access and reinstatement.
- Underground networks: ducts, cable trenches, drainage, manholes, sumps and associated civil works.
- H3SE, QA/QC, third‑party certification, training, national/local content and community engagement (ESIA/ESMP implementation).
